The Blue Point Woods is a 37.5 acre preserve located in Poweshiek County 10 miles southeast of Grinnell. It was purchased by the Tallgrass Prairie Audobon Society in 1994. It provides a high quality setting for bird watching, nature walks, environmental education, and research.
There is a brochure in the pamphlet file at Stewart Library filed under "Iowa Description and Travel-Grinnell area". It has directions and a map showing how to find the woods.
