Sandborn Fire Maps
As of January 2008 Stewart Library now has all of the Grinnell Sandborn maps in pdf format. We are working on ways to make them accessible to the public in print and digital format. For more information call 641-236-2661.
Burling Library has all of the Grinnell maps on microfiche. People may view them in the college microform room and arrange for copies to be made if necessary.
Burling also has some originals (1911 and 1932 for sure). They also have some printouts from the microfiche, including 1883, 1888, 1893, 1898, 1906, 1911, 1922 and 1932.
The State Historical Society in Iowa City has all of the originals for the state.
