The plantings around the library include the following:

  • Red Sunset Maple (acer rubrum): tree in south front of building. This is a variety of red maple.
  • Redbud: three small trees to the rear of the building on the north
  • Marshall Ash: tree directly to the rear of the building
  • Burning bush: shrubs by the fire escape
