Old Settlers Association

The Old Settlers' Association was a group of people who were residents of Grinnell prior to 1860. According to the constitution of the group "Its object shall be to cherish the friendships and to perpetuate the memory of the early days in this town." 

Their meeting proceedings chronicle many events of the earliest days in Grinnell and can be found in the library reference collection (R977.7 PRO).
